Being vegetarian
can be a bit of a toss when it comes to your requirement of protein. For my
kids doctor told to give paneer everyday to complete their daily need of
protein. But really!!!!!!!!!!! is it that easy.
So i found this
easy solution. Paneer bhurgi can be taken as a side dish... or as i do... make
bhurgi rolls for my kids. My kids just love it....
Ingredients;
Paneer(home made) - 1 cup
Peppers( green and red) - 1 cup diced
Onions - 1/2 cup diced
Jeera(cumin seeds)- 1/2 tsp
Chilli powder- 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves to garnish
Oil- 1 tsp
METHOD:-
1. In a non-stick pan put oil. Once hot put cumin seeds to crackle.
2. Add onions and pepper and saute it for a minute.
3. Add salt, chilli powder and turmeric powder.
4. Now add the homemade fresh paneer and mix well. saute it for a minute.
Your delicious and easy to make paneer bhurji is ready. Just add a few sprigs of coriander leaves.
Notes:-
You can use store bought paneer as well. Just keep it in hot water for a few minutes, crumble with your hands.
